Circumstances Are Identical in Two Murder Cases, New York
PORT CHESTER, N. Y., June 29. — The body, identified as being that of Joseph Gouglass, President of the Hydrox Linen Supply Company of New York City, was found tightly bound, in the waters of Long Island Sound.
Circumstances are identical with those involved in finding also this morning of the body reported as that of Arthur Collens, Jr., in a pool in the Blythood Sanitarium at Greenwich.
Both bodies were tightly bound with rope around the ankles and thighs. The arms of Gouglass were also bound.
Collens is reported to be the son of the President of the Phoenix Life Insurance Company.
