GLEE CLUBS TO Sing One Number

Each of the glee clubs entered in the annual Lawrence County literary contest will sing but one number it was decided Friday at a meeting of the school music instructors. The song chosen is "Down in the Wood-land." Judging will be made on the basis of 100 per cent divided as follows: tonal qualities-50 per cent; expression, 10 per cent; diction 10 per cent and rhythm including attack and ensemble, 30 per cent. Miss Caundiff, instructor in music at Marshall college will judge the winners. Teachers in attendance at Friday's meeting were: Bernard Miller, Mrs. Charlotte Crowe, Mrs. Glen S. Jones, Miss Clara Meyers and Miss Gladys Davis.
