Avondale Industry
Growing Fast

Jewell's Creations, a new industry of Avondale tripled its output in the last two weeks. The squaw dresses and sport wear of this mushrooming concern are shipped all over the country.

These are two of the facts we learned from Howard Taylor, who with his wife, and Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Smith, longtime residents of Avondale, recently formed the company which has entered the dress manufacturing field. The company makes both women's and children wear, and expects their employment to reach 30 to 50 people in the next 6 months. At present they are employing three operators, and are looking for 4 more.

Mr. Taylor has been a manufacturer of women's and sport wear for 20 years. The plant was moved last week to its new location at 203 East Western Ave, Avondale.
