Representatives.—Bristol—John Howe, Esq. we regret to say, has lost his election. Mr. Ichabod Davis, (Jackson) is elected by two majority. Hon. James D'Wolf without opposition.

Newport.—it is understood that Mr Ruggles was elected 2nd Representative over Henry Bull (Jackson) by 100 majority. Messrs. Hazard, Ennis, Robbins, Bateman and Trevett, re-elected.

Cranston.—Amasa Sprague is elected first Representative over the Jackson candidate by a majority of 8. This town has heretofore been for Jackson.

Johnston.—Messrs J. F. Simmons and Waterman, re-elected without opposition,

Glocester.—1st. Representative (National Republican,) elected by 60 majority

Smithfield. Messrs Smith and Fowler, (Anti-Jackson,) chosen by 58 majority.

Scituate—Reported 14 to 20 majority for Fenner. Job Randall and Benjamin Wilber, (Jackson) chosen Representatives.

Newport—Ruggles for Rep. 187, Bull 87, Ennis or do. 101. Stearne 69. Polls not closed.

Cumberland—Arnold W. Jencks, Representative in place of Mason, declined, J. Whipple re-elected.

South Kingston—E. R. Potter and J. N. Potter Representatives. The last by 13 majority.

Latest Election Notes.

Returns to be relied on from twenty-seven towns, as stated in our Schedule of votes, give Mr. Arnold for Governor 1699 majority ; Governor Fenner 659 majority. Mr. Arnold's majority in 27 towns 1010. The other four towns to be heard from will not vary the result too, either way. The election of Lt. Governor Collins is doubtful.
