MY DOG -By VIRGINIA BEASLEY, Age 10
I once had a little dog as cute as cute could be,
But now she is dead and I miss her. oh so much!
But if I could have another one just like that one before,
I would never want another to make me sad and cause me to weep some more.
I loved her very much even though she was a dog,
I would do anything just to get her back and to look at her once more.
My Grandpa always used to say, "Where is that Molly B.?" and I would say she is home.
You know by this that all of us liked her dearly, because she was the cutest dog
I had ever seen on this earth.
And now that she is gone, I feel as sad as sad can be,
So please, dear God, take care of her for me.
I will pray for her, and keep her in my mind to think of when I am
not good,
But as long as she is gone, I love her just the same and think of her
as my little
Baby girl, for Molly B. is her name.
And people will always know her as my little Molly Mae Beasley.
