School Elections.

The annual school election will be held Sept. 7, and it is already receiving considerable attention in the way of discussion. The retiring members of the board are: In the First ward, E. H. Stein; Second, Geo. N. Wagner; Third, E. B. Fisher; Fourth, Fred S. Clark; Fifth, Rev. J. T. Ansted; Sixth, Henry J. Felker; Seventh, Gerald Fitzgerald; Eighth, Mrs. L. De Camp Goodrich; Ninth, James E. Blanford; Tenth, Fred W. Stevens.

The legislative enactments dividing the Fifth and Tenth will not take effect this year, consequently there will be twenty members as in the past instead of twenty-four, the number next year. It is said that of the ten retiring members eight are candidates for re-election, and possibly nine of the entire ten would decline a renomination.
