PATHETIC SIDE TO BLISS'S DEATH
MOTHER REACHES BEDSIDE EXPECTING TO SEE SON ALIVE BUT FOUND HIM DEAD—HER GRIEF WAS PITIABLE—REMAINS SHIPPED TODAY.

The body of Wilfred C. Bliss the A. C. student was shipped to his late home at Petersburg at 5 o'clock this morning by Undertaker Daugherty and was accompanied by his mother, Mrs. John Bliss.

There is a pathetic little story in connection with the death of the young man. His mother was sent for on Monday, the telegram stating that her son was very ill. She arrived here at 10 o'clock on the Great Northern and went immediately to the hospital expecting to see her son alive, but he had passed away three hours before. Her grief was inconsolable.

The faculty speak in the highest terms of the character of Mr. Bliss.
