Aeronautics Body Formed In Burke

Morganton, Dec. 10—Getting off to a fine start with its formal organizational meeting which was held Wednesday night in the Community House, the Burke County Chapter of the National Aeronautics Association announced a total membership of 85.

The dinner meeting Wednesday night was attended by more than 50 air enthusiasts despite the unfavorable weather. Speaker for the occasion was R. B. Begordon, well-known air traveler and airplane dealer of Charlotte. The speaker was introduced by Dr. Thomas R. Nichols, president of the Burke County unit of NAA, who also presided at the dinner.
