MEMPHIS.

Proceedings of the Fourth Estate.

MEMPHIS, June 13 - The members of the Tennessee Press Association arrived here this morning and were received at the Appeal office, where the Mayor and General Council, with a large number of citizens had assembled to welcome the members of the fourth estate. Wine and wit flowed freely for several hours, after which they were driven around the city and afterwards taken on a steamer for an excursion around the islands. To-night they were banqueted at Gaston's by Col. Kellar of the Avalanche.

To-morrow they leave for their homes.
