Another Murder.—We have just learned that a deliberate and wilful murder was committed last Tuesday evening, the 14th instant on an old man named Stanley, aged about 70, about two miles west of New Brunswick, on the old road leading to this place, by an Irishman, named William Moren. The circumstances as related to us, are simply these:—That the old man called at the house which he had formerly made his home, and took the freedom to go up stairs to lodge—the woman of the house requested Moren, (who worked for them) to bring him down stairs. Moren went up stairs, apparently much exasperated, and forced him down, and beat him violently for some time with a stick; then tied and dragged him to a small brook; the woman calling to him not to murder the old man—but he disregarded them, and in the morning Stanley was found dead in an out building, near the brook. Moren is now in Middlesex Jail, at New Brunswick, to await his trial at the September term; the Grand Jury of the present term having been dismissed about half an hour before the complaint reached the Court.
