Full Text

Our Lady's Department.--At no inconsiderable expense we have made arrangements for fashion plates, in order to illustrate daily, the fashions of the "Beau Monde." We feel satisfied that this will meet the encouraging smiles of the fair sex, among whom we count, our warmest and best friends. Our plates will be gotten up expressly for this paper, and will be accompanied with letter press descriptions, by one of the best costumers in the nation. Madam Olympe will be charged with supervising the cuts, and they will each be pronounced "au fait" before admitted. Our lady friends may rely on our fashion plates as the latest.
