THE EXPEDITION,

This morning Mr. Wagstaff, the Messenger, arrived in town with intelligence of the whole of the Expedition having sailed from the Downs with a favourable wind. Success attend it! --The following is a correct statement of the forces embarked:

Embarked under the Earl of Chatham.

The amount of the 2d division under the command of the Marquis of Huntly, consists of 6 regiments--the 6th, 50th, 91st, 9th, 38th, and 42d amounting to 4,982.
