ELECT OFFICERS FOR 1926
Hal Kohn Heads Organization for Ensuing Year—Other Officers Elected.
The Forty and Eight met Monday, November 23, and elected the officers for another year. The roster is:
Chef de Gare—Hal Kohn.
Chef de Train—F. D. MacLean.
Commissaire Intendant—B. M. Scurry.
Correspondent Local—W. Fitz Rutherford.
Conductor—S. C. Paysinger.
Garde de la Porte—Elbert J. Dickert.
Garde des Prisonnier—John M. Kinard, Jr., Howard Overby, W. R. Reid, Jr.
Garde aux Chevaux—J. R. Wise.
Cheminot Local—H. M. Havird, John B. Setzler, I. N. Merchant.
Every member of the American Legion, post 24, is invited to join the 40 and 8, which works with the Legion in everything for the good of the organization.
The local voiture is enthusiastic and interested in the "On-to-Paris-Painless Savings Fund," and quite a few have joined and intend saving enough to visit the battlefields of France in 1927, making this a second A. E. F.
The local voiture expect to do much good work with Hal Kohn at the head and with the fine personnel of officers named the work will be unlimited.
