Full Text

Judge Marshall.—We are much gratified to learn that the Chief Justice, notwithstanding his advanced age, and the laborious services, he had to perform in the Virginia Convention previously to the sitting of the Court, still enjoys sound health, and the full possession and exercise of his great talents. The life of this very distinguished man, is probably of more importance to the well being and stability of the United States, than that of any other individual now engaged in the public service. That his vigor of body, and powers of mind hold out so well, is a subject of deep gratification to every well wisher to the highest interests of the Union.—N. Y. Daily Adv.
