JACKSON, MISS.
The W. B. Kahn Company of New York, one of the world's oldest patent firms, with offices in London, England and operating throughout the world has offered to dispose of the invention of Dr. A. H. McCoy and Dr. S. D. Redmond, for which they have been granted a patent by the U. S. Government. It was learned here early this week. No statement, however, could be obtained from either regarding the nature of the proposal of the company. The invention is a device for preventing the torpedo fired by a submarine from reaching the ship.
