Burglar Saws His Way Out of Jail
Ralph Morgan, 18, confessed burglar, sawed his way out of the Calexico jail Tuesday night and had not been apprehended at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. He was one of a duet admitting burglarizing homes in Calexico, El Centro and Brawley.
The youth is six feet in height, weighs 140 pounds, has blue eyes and blond curly hair. He has a small thin mustache, officers said.
When last seen he was wearing a sleeveless brown sweater, a brown figured leather jacket and light trousers. He was arrested in Calexico while attempting to burglarize a home. He and his companion confessed to the recent burglary of several homes. Calexico police were successful in returning some of the stolen property.
