Cincinnati, Dec. 3- A special dispatch says Joseph Stoddard, his wife and young child were found dead at their home at Pine Plains, Allegan county, Michigan, on Saturday. The heads of the wife and child were blown to atoms as they lay in the bed. It is evident that Stoddard committed the deed, as when found he was sitting upright in his chair with a rifle between his legs, his hand tightly grasping the muzzle of the gun. He had often threatened to kill his wife. He was of an ugly disposition, and lived a dissolute life.
