The trustees will meet at the same place next Sunday at 4 P. M. and effect a permanent organization.
The seminary will be opened next fall, probably with one of the most eminent of European Hebrew scholars at its head. There will be about forty congregations which will contribute to its support, and it is believed that the seminary will start out with an income of $10,000. The congregation Shearith Israel has already pledged $1,000 for the first year.
