This council is a very important one and will be attended by the bishops and two clerical and two delegates from each diocese in the United States.
The bishops of the church from Canada, the United States and the West Indies are now in council in Washington, this great gathering of prominent and noted divines being one of the most important and influential that has ever convened in the national capitol.
A number of receptions will be tendered the clergy while there and a great many elaborate functions with preliminary exercises will be given to the visitors.
The principal one of these will occur Sunday afternoon in the Cathedral grounds, when President Roosevelt will address the council. During the week the president and Mrs. Roosevelt will entertain the clergy at a grand reception.

After leaving Washington he will visit other large cities and will deliver several important addresses at these places.
