NEW-YORK, August 10.

The schr. Eliza, capt. Fairchild, arrived here yesterday in 5 days from Bermuda.

Capt. F. informs, that there was every prospect of the ship Pegasus's cargo being condemned,

The Pegasus was from New-York, bound to La Guira, and was sent in by the Lynx sloop of war.

The schr. Fame, for this port, was to sail the day after the Eliza.

Left there the sloop Farmer, Wilson, to sail for New York in two weeks.

The English frigate La Prompte, and sloop of war Lilly, were at Bermuda.
