School Commenced—Social Events.
Charles La Bar and bride came from South Dakota Friday evening to visit relatives here.
Ralph Eamonds of Wisconsin is visiting his relatives, the Webers.
Miss Edna Carll spent her vacation at home from Elkton.
A jolly crowd of Lansing and Ramsey young people called at the Bennett home west of Ramsey Tuesday night.
The dance at the hotel Friday night was well attended, forty numbers being sold. A number were up from Austin.
Misses Nettie and Maud Chaffee spent Sunday at home from Austin.
Relatives from Minneapolis visited at O. C. LaBar's the last of the week.
A sleigh load drove to E. Shook's of Red Rock Wednesday evening.
The school opened Monday for the winter term.
Geo. Warren and wife visited relatives at Brownsdale several days last week.
Miss Ethel Stowe and Ray Clark of Brownsdale attended church at Lansing Sunday.
Rev. Wm. Cooke will hold services in the church Wednesday and Friday evenings of this week.
Relatives of the family are visiting at B. L. Barlow's.
The Udolpho band was entertained by the Lansing band Thursday evening.

Misses Marie Vaughan, Lettie Vaughan, Marion Chilson, Lee Thompson and Harry McIntyre returned to their college duties this week.
