PATIENT WILL RETURN TO HOME AT ARCHER

Herman Kanning, south Redstone farmer, returned to his home this week, much improved in health and discharged as completely recovered from an attack of insanity which had rendered him irrational and uncontrollable except when under guard, according to Dr. York our local chiropractor who has treated Mr. Kanning for the past month. It became necessary to place the patient in the county jail where he was under guard by several men for a week after coming here.

He suffered a fall from a fractious horse a year ago. He was unconscious several hours following this tumble. The next day he was up and about again but complained of severe pains in the back, and a headache. This condition grew worse with time, but he neglected obtaining medical relief. Shortly after Christmas he became violently insane and his recovery was despaired of. Under treatment here the violence soon left, but he then passed into a deep coma lasting many days, during which he took no water or nourishment, and his life was again despaired of, and his family was here in constant attendance.

He has gained full normalcy and the headaches and loss of memory have disappeared. Many regard this a miracle, but Dr. York said, "I have treated many cases of a similar nature, the persons fully recovering."
