GAIETY, CHARM BROUGHT TO SEASON BY NEW PRINTS

Left, polka dot two-piece dress; center, rayon crepe cap-sleeved model; right, spun rayon afternoon frock.

There is something about prints that seems to bring gaiety and charm to the season. This year the choice in these cheery garments is bright and joyful with new charm. The polka dot two-piece, shown left is made of rayon crepe, and is a mix-match outfit that can be made into different costumes by using the skirt with a blouse or the blouse with a contrasting skirt. The blouse is long-sleeved with a classic peplum, and the skirt is full in front. The cap-sleeved number, center, is of the same material and the print is in those popular colors, ruby, amethyst, topaz and emerald. The skirt is full and the model features a leather belted waistline. The afternoon dress, right, is made of one-denier spun rayon fabric, especially effective in a dark background print. This one is a splashy rose print, with keyhole neckline and unpressed skirt pleats adding a note of femininity.
