The Atlanta Baptist Ministers Union met Tuesday, September 24, at the Wheat Street Baptist church, the Rev. Louis Foster, Jr., acting pastor. Rev. M. L. King, presided while Rev. J. J. Clow read the journal of the last session.

The Rev. J. W. Adams, outstanding pastor of the Chapel Hill Baptist church, left the city to conduct a revival campaign for the Rev. E. M. Johnson, minister of the Eighth Street Baptist church, Griffin, Ga.

Dr. D. D. Crawford, veteran executive secretary of the State Baptist Convention, urges the ministers to become more pious intimating that the young men should be instructed by the elder ministers along lines that would be helpful to them in their church work.

upon the Holy Spirit.

The speakers asserted that the Holy Spirit came directly from God, pointing out that it was necessary for Jesus to return to His Father in order that we might receive the Comforter and that Jesus is here now looking after His church in that form of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit makes men conscious of their sin. Rev. Sanders. A goodly number of people attend but haven't a reverent apply the same.

The Rev. S. M. Lec, director of the Sunday School Publishing Board drive in the Greater Atlanta area, urged the brethren to purchase bonds, stating that ever $200,000 worth had already been sold.

It was announced that the Rev. T. Arnold would be the guest speaker Sunday at both services at the McDaniel street church, Rev. Huel J. Jackson, minister. Rev. Arnold was guest speaker at the Mt. Calvary Baptist church, the Rev. B. J. Johnson, pastor, last Sunday.

The Rev. G. W. Jordan, pastor of the Second Mt. Olive Baptist church and moderator of the New Hope Association, announced to the group that on Wednesday, October second, at the First Baptist church, Reynoldstown the Rev. A. L. Collins, minister, the annual meeting of the New Hope association will get underway.

Among the prominent leaders who will appear on the program are Dr. E. R. Carter, pastor of the Friendship Baptist church and Dr. D. C. Crawford, noted state and national leader. Moderator Jordan cordially invites all to attend the series of events, stating that space will be given on the program for the church page editor of the Atlanta Daily World.

According to the Rev. E. H. Milner, pastor of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist church, South Atlanta, the Cabin Creek Association begins its annual session October.

The Rev. S. M. Bryant, first vice president of the group and pastor of the Union Baptist church, will preside over the body next Tuesday.

Don't forget the Sunday School and B. Y. P. U. Training School which is now being held in south Atlanta. Church workers of all groups are invited to attend the School of Methods during the current week at East Lake.
