Stark County Budget Is Raised for 1933

Dickinson, N. D., July 22.—(R)—Stark county 1933-34 budget estimates, prepared by the county commissioners, show a total increase of approximately $20,000 over last year.

The proposed levy for the fiscal year beginning July 1 aggregates $174,913 as compared with $155,438 in 1932-33.

Special funds of $5,000 for grasshopper extermination, $6,000 for poor relief administered last year in addition to the budget allowance of $12,000 and $4,000 for emergency bridges are proposed in the new budget.
