The two friends, as Lord North and Germain are so justly called, are determined to live and die together. Lord George Germain declares that he will not skulk behind the throne for protection; and Lord North pledges himself to fall with his friend. The enquiry into the conduct of the American war will decide their fate. The papers are to be on the table against the first day of the meeting, after the vacation. Governor Johnstone is to prove that the expedition to Philadelphia lost America; the papers are to prove that Lord George planned it.
