Judge and Mrs. Allen Fort returned home yesterday from a visit of several days in Atlanta.
Mr. S. T. Benning of Griffin was a well known visitor in Americus yesterday morning.
Miss Nettie Lockett is spending a week in Albany with her sister, Mrs. R. E. Maultsby.
Mrs. L. A. Cook of Macon arrived yesterday upon a visit of some length to friends here.
Mr. C. S. Shewmake was among the Atlantans registered yesterday at the Hotel Windsor.

Mr. Brown McLendon has gone with the advance guard of Americus people to the Albany Chautauqua.
Dr. and Mrs. G. M. Niles of Marshallville are guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Niles for several days at their home here.
Miss Myra Havgool of Atlanta is the guest of Mrs. Allen Fort at her residence on Lee street, coming yesterday afternoon.
