ANOTHER LETTER, FROM BOOTH: Paducah, Ky.; April 19.- Squire Dugger, a prominent merchant of Unionville, Ill., and master commissioner of Massac county, Illinois, makes the statement that last week he received a long letter from John Wilkes Booth, who is alive in South America engaged in the mining business. Dugger alleges that he and Booth were great friends and that in the letter Booth expressed a desire to return to the United States. Regarding the killing of the man supposed to have been him (Booth) Dugger says he was an accomplice. Dugger is deemed very reliable by those who know him and he says he will give the letter up for publication in a short time.
