ACCIDENT KILLS ONE IN ST. JOHN

One man was killed and at least five others were injured Monday morning when a truck belonging to the Caribbean Engineering Corporation overturned at Maria Fancy, St. John and plunged over an embankment.

Genero Huertas, driver of the vehicle, was crushed to death as the truck rolled over him. He was reported to have a wife and eight children in Puerto Rico.

Others injured and hospitalized included Marcelino Gimenez, Christian Matthias, Antonio Callwood, Alfred Wallace and James Rosario. Five other workers who were in the truck escaped injury.
