Children's Day, Sunday, June 13th, was observed at the Darnestown Presbyterian Church with appropriate and interesting exercises. The children showed the careful training they had received by their perfect recitations and songs. Much credit is due the indefatigable and faithful pastor, Mr. Yeakel, who had with great patience and gentleness trained these little ones so perfectly. The choir of the church, assisted by a male quartette led by Mr. Clark Galleher, rendered some very choice music in an artistic and brilliant manner. The church was crowded, many persons having only standing room, and the decorations, prepared by the young ladies of the church, of evergreens and lovely flowers were most beautiful and graceful.

The following program was rendered:
- Organ Voluntary;
- Singing by the school, Happy Welcome to All;
- welcome address, Miss Alberta Montgomery;
- Scripture lesson;
- prayer by the pastor, Rev. I. C. Yeakel;
- Baptism of infants;
- singing by school, O, Children's Day;
- singing by male quartet, The Pleading Voice;
- recitation, Do Something, Miss Katie Tschiffely;

- singing by male quartet, Rejoice;
- motion song, lessons from the Clock, by 12 girls;
- recitation, Little Will, by Miss Bell McAtee;
