Chaplin Suffers Collapse

New York—Charlie Chaplin, film star, is "suffering from a serious nervous breakdown," his physician said in a bulletin issued after examining the comedian for the third time during the day. Dr. Gustave Tieck was first called to treat Chaplin after the latter had exhibited signs of hysteria. His expression was grave as he issued the following bulletin: "Mr. Chaplin is suffering from a serious nervous breakdown, is considerably agitated and will have to remain in bed for some time."
