And from another Hand,

"Your Favour came duly to Hand; by which I have the inexpressible Pleasure to find, that the Ministry are like to be disappointed in their Expectations, that the Town of Boston would have meanly complied with their Demands.----I am pleased with your Firmness;----and I trust you will not fail to have all the Aid and Assistance of all the Colonies upon this trying Occasion. Mr. Revere has Letters from the Committees of Philadelphia and this City, which I hope will animate our Brethren in Boston, and induce them to think they will not be deserted in the Hour of Difficulty."
