Why We Should Trade In Holmes County

The advantages for trading in one's hometown greatly outweigh the disadvantages. Many people feel that trading in their hometown and bringing new industries into the town will result in slums areas and low classes of people. These two things can be prevented by people planning by the Chamber of Commerce. People who have any vision can see the great advantages new industries will be to a community. The industries will bring the people necessary for the work in the factories and from their pay envelopes will come the money for the future growth of the community. Not only will there be new industries but also the business of the town will grow and prosper. If people would only stop and think, they would realize that only by trading in their community will it grow and prosper. As the saying goes, "what is made in Mississippi, makes Mississippi."
