Extract of a Letter from Lisbon. July 11th.

Count De Lippe Buckeburg, is just arrived as Commander in Chief of all the Forces here, great Things are expected from his great Abilities: the Prince of Mecklenburg is also arrived with a great many other Officers, he is to command a Regiment of Portuguese Horse: Lord Loudon is every Hour expected here: General Crawford is up with the Portuguese Army, instructing them, he is in great Esteem here and at Court; Lord Tyrawley, it is Said is going Home again. Capt. Sawyer in the Active of 28 Guns, and Capt. Pownell, in the Favorite of 16 Guns, have taken a Spanish South Sea Man with upwards of a Million of Money, some say a Million and a Half, without doubt it is thought to be the richest single Prize that ever was taken.
