With a very extensive assortment of BOOKS on
every art and science, and such as are proper for
country stores; which will be sold at the most rea-
sonable prices, and orders particularly attended to
and carefully answered.
N. B. SAMUEL CAMPBELL is appointed to
take in subscriptions for a new edition of the
ENCYCLOPÆDIA BRITANNICA;
Or, DICTIONARY of ARTS. and SCIENCES
Published at Edinburgh.
The work will contain 24) weekly numbers,
which will make 12 large volumes in 4to. and will
be delivered to subscribers in America, at 2s. 8d,
each number. In the course of the work will be
given upwards of 500 copperplates, finely engraved.
Gentlemen inclined to subscribe for this valua-
ble work, will please forward their names and
place of abode, and they may depend upon being
regularly supplied by the earliest vessels after pub-
lication.
The first number will appear in May, 1788.
