Politics at Fever Heat Republican Party Leader Arrested.

Politics is at fever heat and, throngs around the Court House were in such a state of excitement this morning that a well known Republican party leader got into a "scrap" with another politician this morning in the Court House yard. The Republican party leader was arrested by Officer John Jacobs, for disorderly conduct, having given his opponent a black eye and cut cheek. The R. P. L., aforesaid, was haled before Justice Minnick, pleaded guilty and paid a fine of one dollar and costs.
Politics continues to wax warm even to the fighting and black eye stage.
