The second annual ball of the Juvenile dancing class was given at the opera house last Saturday evening, March 11th, and a very pretty and successful affair it was.
Immediately on their arrival at the opera house, the members of the class were presented with bouquets by their instructor, Mrs. Graham, and promptly at 9:15 the evening's pleasures were begun.
The grand march was postponed until the last so that the late comers had an opportunity to see the little folks go through the graceful turns, steps, etc., which they have been practicing so carefully and which they executed so perfectly. At 10:30 the spectators were invited to take part in the evening's enjoyment which continued until a late hour.
When the time for departure came, the entire assemblage voted it a very enjoyable evening and complimented Mrs. Graham on the splendid manner in which she conducted the program and the remarkable progress that the Juvenile class has made under her instruction.
The spectators were especially surprised at the perfect ball room manners of little Lenore Kendall and Paul Berry, the youngest members of the class, aged respectively four and five years, and many were the compliments on the ease and grace with which these little people executed the intricate figures in the grand march.
