Wilson's Health Better Than Ever Declares Colby

(United Press Service)

WASHINGTON, Nov. 10. -
Secretary of State Colby today took issue with the reported statement of John W. Davis. American ambassador to Great Britain, that President Wilson is much sicker than any person has believed. Commenting on the statement attributed to Davis, Colby said.

"I can hardly credit this report or assume that Mr. Davis made such an assertion. President Wilson's condition is a source of satisfaction to his friends, and his gain in health for several months has been steady and uninterrupted."

Davis is reported to have said:

"The President fully realizes he is not able to participate any longer in politics."
