Mr. A. L. Sherman,
Lancaster, Wisconsin
Dear sir: Will you please try and find me a paper dated December 28th as this issue was lost and I did not receive it.
Am enclosing you a clipping of the Wisconsin Society that was organized here in 1910 and which has 1200 members. Will hold a large banquet here Feb. 9th at the Elks Temple. Potosi is well represented. Our old friend, W. H. Hunt who used to run the largest store in Wisconsin resides here, also his brother Sam, who is in the Real Estate business. Mr. Carthew, also Joe Hall who's father was an early settler in Wisconsin. Had a very pleasant visit with Mrs. Abe Gibson who was one of the early settlers of Potosi and now resides with her three sons, Billy, Abe and Tom at Vancouver, Washington, Judge J. A. Nevelle, who used to be the county treasurer of Grant county, and family. Millie Kaltenback, sister of postmaster A A. Kaltenback of Potosi and Minnie Gibson and Lottie Goodrich of Potosi.
Wishing the Herald a prosperous New Year, I am,
Yours truly,
C. S. Morris.
