SIXTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL FOUND DEAD AND EVIDENTLY MURDERED

BANDON, Ore., Aug. 5.—Belief that Lillian Leuthold, the sixteen-year-old high school girl whose body was found in a secluded spot by her father, was killed by a tramp after she had been assaulted, was shaken after an investigation of the body was made by physicians. No injuries were found on the body except the bullet hole through the head which caused her death, medical men reported. As it was known that the girl had no money with her, the authorities were inclined today to believe that jealousy of the victim by some man or woman may have caused her to be shot to death. It could not be determined however, that she had any suitor who might have been responsible for the murder.
