New York, Sept. 30.

Capt. Gold, who arrived yesterday morning in 19 days from Porto Rico informs that news had been received there from the Main, that Miranda landed in the Gulf of Coro on the 25th of Aug. with 600 men, that he had been joined by 10,000 well disciplined troops, and it was expected he would soon over-run the country. This information was received at Porto Rico on the 8th of Sept. by a Danish schooner, and was very generally believed.

We understand that letters have been received in town from respectable gentlemen at that place, which corroborate the above.
