Full Text
Our government has put in requisition 40 vessels, intended to carry to Cattaro a corps of Austrian troops composed of detachments from the following regiments: Archduke Ferdinand, Joseph Kirski, Straffolco, St. Juliano, and Thurn. A part of these regiments are already arrived here. Count B-lie-Garde, who commands them, is instructed to receive Cattaro (which is to be evacuated conformably to orders arrived from St. Petersburgh) and deliver formal possession of it to the French.
The Russian men-of-war, which lay outside of our roadstead, sailed yesterday with some merchant vessels bound for Corfu.
(Journal de l'Empire.)
A number of Austrian generals and Commissaries have arrived here, to superintend the embarkation of the prisoners upon the Danube. As soon as ever the official accounts of the mouths of the Cattaro being in the hands of the French shall arrive, all these vessels will actually depart.
Though the French Courier, who was to have brought the intelligence of the evacuation of the Cattaro to Munich, had not arrived there on the 25th, everything was ready for their departure. Prince Berthier's baggage was all packed up. A number of waggons, &c. had also arrived from Braunau.
