For the Massachusetts S P Y.
BY Mr. Thomas,

government in this, either by letters, messengers missive, or personal visitation, appears their apprehensions from the measures now carrying on here. Machiavel long since taught them to Divide and Tyrannize, the beloved Farmer exhorts us to unite. Nothing seems more likely to unite us than a general sense of the scandalous impositions we have so long endured from a handful of pick-pockets, who have had the address to pillage us, under pretence of being the lawful guardians of our property. A fair exposure of their villainy will render them incapable of carrying on the cheat much further. This desideratum is now anxiously expected.
