NORTHERN BANK OF KENTUCKY.

The bill to establish this Bank has finally passed both houses of the legislature, and will no doubt speedily become a law. As it is likely to prove of great advantage to the community, we trust that it will meet with no obstruction in going into operation.

It passed the Senate on Thursday last, by the following vote:

AYES—Mr Speaker, Mess Blackburn, Bush, Carter, Chinn, Coffey, Daviess, Gholson, Grider, McDonald, May, Metcalfe, Miller, Morgan, Patterson, Southgate, Taylor, Thornton, Willis and Young.—20.

NAYS—Messrs Boyd, Bramlette, Gholson, Griffith, Guthrie, Harrold, Heady, James, Lusk, Lyon, McHenry, Morehead, Murrell, Nuttall, Roberts, Sisk, Smith and Wingate.—18.
