THRONG HEARS MISS COWEN

Thursday evening, February 10, Miss Georgia Cowen, teacher of education at Spelman College, addressed the Child Study Group at the Spelman College Nursery School. Her subject was "The Opportunities of Parents for Building up Ease in Reading in Children."

Miss Cowen has made a special study of the University of Chicago of Remedial Reading and Children's Literature, and is one of the few teachers in the South who is well trained in this field.

The meeting was well attended by many parents, teachers, graduate and undergraduate students.
