Sue Harvard to Sing With Arions Thursday
The Arion Musical club, in its concert Thursday night, Pabst theater, will present as a soloist Sue Harvard, a soprano who has made a name for herself here and abroad.
Born in Wales, Miss Harvard, since her second year, has lived in the United States and, except for a season in Europe, her study, training and experience have been American. She has to her credit appearances with the New York Philharmonic, the New York Symphony, the Philadelphia orchestra, the Cincinnati Symphony.
During the past season she has been accorded recognition as a concert artist following her London debut and subsequent appearances in England and Wales, especially at the great Ammanford Eisteddfod when she was soloist with the London Symphony orchestra.
Dr. Daniel Protheroe will conduct. Charles W. Dodge and Ethel Watson Ushar will be accompanists. The following is the program:
