Harper's Magazine.—We have this model magazine for February.— It contains the tenth paper from Maj. D. H. Strother (Porte Crayon) on his "Personal Recollections Of The War" illustrated. The "Cedar" a poem; "A Summer on the Plains," finely illustrated by the special artist with Hancock's command; "The Woman's Kingdom;" "A Love Story;" by the author of John Halifax, Gentleman; "The Maidens Test," a poetical Waif. A biography of Governor Andrew, by a member of his church; A critical review of "Motley's History of the Netherlands;" "The Porch," an exquisite sentimental poem. "A Little Heaven," which we judge to be a love story. "Mary Nealy," another "Frederick Halsey." ditto: "The Bankrupt Wife" a touching story; an article on valentines; a courtship article; an article on etiquette, editor's easy chair; monthly record of current events, and the family corner, called Editor's Drawer. This No. is fully equal to any of its predecessors which is the highest praise we can give it. Published monthly by Harper Brothers, New York, at $4 per annum.
