SUPPLIES granted for 1782.

That 49,455 effective men, commissioned land and non-commissioned officers, including 4175 invalids, be employed for the land service for 1782.

That £1,242,935 l. be granted for defraying the charges of maintaining the said men.

£131,552 gl. for maintaining the forces in the plantations, Minorca, Gibraltar, North America, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and the West Indies, including Africa.

£26,280 l. for the pay of a regiment of light dragoons, and 7 battalions of foot, for the East-India service.

£677,497 l. for defraying the charges of the embodied militia and fencibles in North Britain.

£75,105 4 gl. for defraying the charges of clothing for the embodied militia in South Britain.

£43,840 l. for the pay of generals and general staff officers.

£43,660 l. for defraying the charge of 1550 troops of the Margrave of Brandenburg Anspach, in the pay of Great Britain, pursuant to treaty.
