GRUENING OPPOSED BY NOME GOP

NOME, Alaska, March 26.—(P)—The Nome Republican Club unanimously passed a resolution opposing the reappointment and confirmation of Ernest Gruening as Governor of Alaska.

The resolution charges Gruening has "from time to time demonstrated a dictatorial attitude towards the citizens of Alaska and their duly elected legislators" and such an attitude has resulted in lack of harmony detrimental to the best interests of Alaska.

The resolution has been sent to Senator Hugh Butler, chairman of the committee now considering the appointment.
