Jacob Felshaw and Leslie Webb, of Pima, arrested at the instance of Post-office Inspector Geo. I. Waterbury, charged with the robbery of the mail Jan. 6th near Bowie station, were taken to Tucson, arraigned before U. S. Commissioner Wilson who fixed their bail at $3,000 each, which they failed to secure. Their examination set for last Monday was postponed until Wednesday, owing to the enforced absence of Inspector Waterbury.
Felshaw is charged with the robbery and Webb as being an accomplice. It is alleged that they secured $230 worth of goods from the Indian trader at San Carlos, $55 in postoffice funds and nine registered letters.
